PLAN OF ATTACK: KICKSTARTER PREPARATION
Since I’m ready to start sharing with you the whole process of this game from start to finish, I’ll start with the pre-planning of the Kickstarter campaign!
Creating a groundwork for the game was step one, step two was creating this blog.
Now we gotta sort out what needs to be done in order for this campaign to be successful
- Gather/compile game assets
- Create video
- Define what types of rewards will be given out to each backer
- Explain that there will be a weekly video round up/meeting, updating backers of the progress of the game, compiling everything that’s been done over the course of the week
- Write a creative and informative page detailing what the game is about
- Explain why I need the funding and how it will be distributed
- Network and get the word out to as many potential backers as possible
- Communicate with my backers, get feedback/critique and suggestions
- Update the blog as often as I update the game
And that should be about it, it’s a long ass week ahead. I expect to pull this by next sunday.
